GTUR- TRANSPORTE DE PASSAGEIROS, LDA is committed to guaranteeing its customers the protection and security of the personal data provided to it. It has implemented organizational security measures to protect the personal data provided against dissemination, loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorized processing or access, as well as against any other form of unlawful processing.

Generally, the personal data collected by GTUR includes name, nationality, identification document number, telephone number or email address, and tax identification number. Other data necessary for the provision of products or services may also be collected.

b. When is personal data collected and generated?

In general, personal data is requested when the Customer makes a reservation for our products or services, or at the time of using them. GTUR fully respects your right to privacy and does not collect any personal information about you without your prior consent. Some personal data is mandatory for us to provide the service.

c. What is the purpose of collecting personal data?

In general, the personal data collected from the Customer will be processed and stored electronically and is intended for customer management, provision and billing of services, accounting, tax, and administrative management functions, litigation, information campaigns, promotion, marketing, and compliance with legal obligations. Your personal data will also be processed to respond to your questions, suggestions, or complaints.

 

4. DATA TRANSMISSION

a. GTUR may use subcontractors for all or part of the purposes identified above. These entities are obliged to maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of our Customers' data. They must not use such data for any other purpose, or for their own benefit, nor relate it to other data they hold.

Personal data may also be made available to courts and other competent authorities in strict compliance with the law, particularly when necessary for the resolution of billing disputes and for activities related to the protection of public safety, defense and security of the State, and the prevention, investigation, or detection of criminal offenses.

Your personal data will only be retained for the period necessary to provide the service or product, or to comply with GTUR's legal, accounting, and billing obligations. Under the terms governed by law, the customer is guaranteed the right to access, rectify, transfer, object to, erase, and limit the processing of their personal data (except for data strictly necessary for the provision of the service). GTUR has personnel responsible for ensuring the security of personal data provided by Customers, specifically by developing practices and procedures that inhibit unauthorized access, prevent accidental loss, and destroy personal data as soon as its storage and maintenance are no longer necessary to fulfill contractual purposes and legal obligations.
